1938 – 2016

GARDINER — Nancy J. Benedetto, 78, a resident of Livermore Falls, passed away Sunday, Nov. 20, at her daughter’s home in Gardiner.

She was born Oct. 16, 1938, in Canton, the daughter of Kenneth Crocker and Helen (Lovely) Crocker. She attended school at Livermore Falls High School. On May 29, 1954, she married Joseph Benedetto of Livermore Falls; he passed away Sept. 26, 2006.

Throughout the years, Nancy worked at the local shoe shops, and later worked as a certified nursing assistant at Parkview Nursing Home in Livermore Falls. She enjoyed camping, helping family and friends and going on day trips with her friends.

She is survived by her sons, Joseph Benedetto and his wife, Nancy, of Florida; and John Benedetto and his wife, Qing Jiao, of Singapore; her daughter, Linda Adams and her husband, Mike, of Gardiner; her grandchildren, Anthony Benedetto and his wife, Kate, Mike Wilson, Johna Benedetto, Kristen Adams and Rebecca Rodriguez and her husband, Bryan; her brothers, Robert Crocker of New Hampshire and Kenneth Crocker and her sister, Glenice Bean, both of South Carolina.

She was predeceased by one brother, and three sisters.
