1916 – 2016
WEST PARIS — Dorothy Barbara Pratt Clark, 100, of Oxford, died Wednesday evening, Nov. 23, at the Ledgeview Living Center in West Paris.
She was born on Aug. 6, 1916, in Oxford, a daughter of Harold and Isabelle (Benson) Pratt. She attended the one-room schoolhouse in East Oxford, Oxford High School and later Westbrook Junior College.
Dorothy worked for the Bureau of Standards in Washington, D.C., for many years. While there, she joined the D.C. Ski Club and had the good fortune of going on ski trips throughout the world including, Austria and Switzerland.
She is survived by a sister, Jeannette Roderick of Norway; a grand-nephew, Barry Roderick and his wife, Denise, of Orlando, Fla.; a great-grandniece, Brittany Roderick of Atlanta, Ga.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Clark, whom she married in 1972; and a sister, Muriel.
