KINGFIELD — As one of Kingfield’s last celebrations of its 2016 bicentennial, visitors can discover Christmas Thru the Ages for themselves Saturday, Dec. 10, in the houses within walking distance of downtown.

Five decorated Kingfield homes will include interpretation of the eras along with refreshments, music and costumes. Tickets are $10 per person and proceeds benefit the Webster Free Library in Kingfield.

The tours will start chronologically with the 1740s German Moravian house, finishing with the Fabulous ’50s. The tours will begin at 10:30 a.m., lasting just under two hours. Tour groups will leave every 20 minutes from the Herbert parking lot off Main Street, Route 27. The final tour will leave at 2:50 pm.

Visitors can park downtown for the walk, with parking available at each house. Each site will be clearly marked with a lamppost and site number. Tickets, which must be obtained in advance, are available on a first-come, first-served basis and will include a map.
