1939 – 2016

AUBURN — Janice Mae Pulsifer, 77, a resident of Livermore, passed away Thursday, Dec. 1, at the Hospice House in Auburn, surrounded by her loving family, following a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

She was born May 28, 1939, in Pennsylvania, the daughter of Byron Marble and Bertha (Kline) Marble. She attended school in Lewiston. On June 29, 1957, in Auburn, she married David Pulsifer. He passed away May 8, 2008.

Janice worked as a med tech at the local nursing homes. She enjoyed cross stitching, crafting, decorating her home and playing golf at Maple Lane. She especially loved spending time with her family, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Scott Pulsifer and his wife, Karen, of Deming, N.M.; her daughter, Donna Lynn Gagnon and her husband, Robert, of Livermore; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her sister, Pat Schoppe and her husband, Donald, of Auburn; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, David Pulsifer; and their son, Dan Pulsifer.
