1936 – 2016

LEWISTON — Yvette (Boucher) Pepin, 80, of Lewiston died Friday, Dec. 2, surrounded by her daughter, Colette Young, and son, Mark Pepin.

She was born in Augusta on May 29, 1936, a daughter of the late Clarisse (Dupuis) and Arthur Boucher.

Yvette was married to Andrew J. Pepin and lived several years in Lewiston before moving to Florida in 1987. She returned to Lewiston in 2009 and enjoyed many nights with her son, Mark, watching wrestling, as well as being and avid fan of the Boston Bruins and her soap operas.

She was a dedicated mom and a hard worker for Woolworths, Dunkin Donuts and Central Maine Medical Center, as well as co-owning Andy’s Bar-b-que in Auburn and Slender You in Inverness, Fla.

Yvette is survived by her grandchildren, Stephanie Curtis and her husband, John; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Mariah and Ariannah Veilleiux, Gage and Easton Curtis; Joseph Pepin and his wife, Brianna; great-grandchildren, Eli and Ava Pepin; son-in-law, James Young; and grandchildren, Alyssa, Kelly and Nicole Young.

Her family wishes to thank the staff of CMMC and the Dempsey Center for the outstanding and compassionate care she received.
