The Bates College Jazz Band will join the Portland Jazz Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, in Olin Arts Center, 75 Russell St., Lewiston. This tribute concert will include a tribute to drummer/composer Steve Grover, who taught at Bates. The concert is free but tickets are required by visiting batesconcerts.eventbrite.com.
