Santa to visit Rumford Library
RUMFORD — Santa Claus will visit the Rumford Public Library at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21.
There will be food and crafts as well.
All kids are welcome.
Volunteers sought for Christmas dinner
LIVERMORE FALLS — The 16th annual Free Community Christmas Dinner with turkey and ham will be served from 11:30 to 1 p.m. Christmas day, Sunday, Dec. 25, at the American Legion Hall on Reynolds Avenue.
All are invited to attend. Reservations are required by contacting 207-897-3593. Meal delivery will be available locally.
Organizers are seeking volunteers to bake pies and cookies and requesting donations of ham, turkey, potatoes, squash, stuffing and gravy. Donations may be made by contacting 207-897-3072, and those who wish to volunteer may contact 207-897-3593.
‘Inspiring Minds’ at Friends Together
LIVERMORE FALLS — Friends Together Peer Support Group will host a class on “Inspiring Minds” facilitated by Nicole Ditata of the Healthy Community Coalition at the Peer Support and Recovery Center, 31 Park St. next to the fire station.
The class will start Friday, Jan. 6, and will meet for eight weeks every Friday until Feb. 24.
