LEWISTON — Joline Bell is organizing trips for seniors with destinations that include casinos and the theater.
Trips are available to all seniors young at heart. Seniors are reminded to register as soon as possible, because seats fill quickly.
2017 trips include:
March 14: Indian Head Resort in Lincoln, New Hampshire, for a St. Patrick’s Day celebration with a dinner and show.
March 28-29: Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos in Connecticut for slots, bingo or shopping. This trip is already full, but Bell has started a wait list in the event of cancellations.
April 19 and 26: Sugar party at Bellavance in Lac-Mégantic, Quebec. This trip is also already full, and Bell will have a wait list in the event of cancellations.
May 21: Breakfast at Cracker Barrel followed by the musical “Annie” at the Wang Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts. Few spaces are open for this trip.
July 20: Voices of Legends, featuring Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Neil Diamond, Dean Martin, Johnny Mathis and others at Venezia Italian restaurant in Boston. Few are open for this trip.
Sept. 16: An inexpensive, weeklong trip Niagara Falls in Canada. This trip is already booked, but Bell is accepting reservations for a wait list in the event of cancellations.
Bell is also making plans for other trips, including a trip to Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island, for a buffet, show and slots; a trip to a clam bake festival with a show; an overnight trip in October to Connecticut casinos on the first day and to see a John Denver tribute show in New Hampshire on the second day; and a Christmas dinner and show trip.
