1951 – 2016

FARMINGTON — Betty M. Davis, 65, of Jay died shortly upon arrival at Franklin Memorial Hospital on Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 13.

She was born May 30, 1951, in Strong, a daughter of Bill and Carlene (Berry) Adams. She was a graduate of Mt. Abram High School and for 25 years was employed in the croquet department at Forster Mfg.

She was a former member of the Jay Firefighters Auxiliary and was a New England Patriots fan. A nature lover, she enjoyed spotting deer and feeding hummingbirds.

Betty is survived by her husband, Bruce Davis Sr. of Jay; their two children, Bruce Davis Jr. and his wife, Laura, of Chicago, Ill., and Tammy O’Donal and her husband, Mike, of Strong; three sisters: Carol James and her husband, Dwight, and Sheryl Plog and her husband, Mike, all of Strong and Gloria Woods of Topsham; grandchildren, Johnathon O’Donal, Nicole O’Donal, Jacob O’Donal, Madison Davis, Makenzie Davis and Micah Davis; and two great-grandchildren, Dakota Delisle and Ryleigh O’Donal.

She was predeceased by her folks.
