LEWISTON — City of Lewiston Arborist Steve Murch is singing the praises of Dylan Latham of Boy Scout Troop 007, who recently led a group of volunteers to work on the Montello School Nature Trail as part of his Eagle Scout project.
The small city lot is located behind Montello School on which the city of Lewiston previously conducted a wood harvest and then established a short loop trail. Murch worked with Latham to clean and make some improvements to the trail.
The work consisted of removing trash, replacing two bollards, filling in holes along the trail and creating an arch at one end of the trail.
