Now that Donald Trump is about to sit in the chair and take over the most powerful position in the world, I have to wonder if — regardless of his tweets, his gilded three-story apartment and the organized victory rally side-show caravan — does he understand the word compromise?
So far it has been his way or no way. Any halfway educated person knows that position leads only to failure and sadness on both sides.
Trump should give up the schoolboy bravado and attend to the position he is about to accept. Just think what his inaugural speech will be like — will his so devoted carnival hucksters be there with the cardboard banners?
Good gosh, I hope not.
