DEAR SUN SPOTS: I heard “Twitty City,” Conway Twitty’s home and tourist place, is no longer. He died in 1993, the family couldn’t get along, so I heard that they sold it or something. Just wondering if it still stands. I was there in 1982 on vacation. Thank you. — No name, Oxford.

ANSWER: The former “Twitty City,” located in Hendersonville, Tennessee, is now Trinity Music City. It includes the Conway Twitty mansion and Memorial Gardens. Since Twitty’s death, it has been converted into a Christian music venue owned by the Trinity Broadcasting Network. The venue holds church services and religious music concerts. There are some reports that TBN no longer offers tours of the mansion, but this could not be confirmed. You can still see the property, but if visiting, call ahead to see if tours are being offered.
