LEWISTON — Lewiston Police Community Resource Officer Joe Philippon will be the featured guest speaker of Lewiston Auburn Rotary Club from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at the Ramada Inn.

Philippon is a 2005 graduate of the University of Maine at Augusta and possesses a bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice.

Philippon was hired by Lewiston Police Department in 2005 and has been with the department for more than 10 years. He is assigned to the department’s Community Resource Team where he focuses on strengthening community partnerships, identifying areas to improve service, recruitment, and oversees several enforcement and outreach programs for the department.

The public is invited to attend. No reservation is required.
