It wasn’t very long ago that I saw a televised report that everyone’s Social Security check would increase by a measly $4 per month. Even that was a lie.
I have been speaking with several people and nobody I have talked to received that $4 increase. Some said it was a dollar or two, maybe $3, but not $4.
Are these cheap government officials laughing at those of us on Social Security? I think so. It makes me feel unworthy and I would like to give it back to them.
People are hurt by such a small increase, plus being insulted. When our own government treats its people like that, it is hurtful and frustrating. They don’t even give everyone the same amount. How cheap can they be?
Should they ever ask for a donation, I would be the first one to send them … one penny.
