LEWISTON — Carpal tunnel syndrome is the subject of a special presentation offered by Central Maine Orthopaedics on Thursday, Feb. 2.

Orthopaedic surgeon Lauren Adey, M.D., of Central Maine Orthopaedics and the Orthopaedic Institute of Central Maine, will host the discussion from 6 to 7 p.m. at Central Maine Medical Center in Conference Room ABC on the lower level of the 12 High St. medical office building.

The class will discuss what it is, symptoms to look for, causes, conservative treatments, surgery and what to expect from it, and when to call a physician.

The class is free, but reservations are required. Refreshments will be offered.
