1930 – 2017
LEWISTON — Juliette R. Ebner, 86, of Lisbon Falls, passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, at Central Maine Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Auburn on Oct. 10, 1930, a daughter of the late Albert and Eva (Galarneau) Larochelle. She attended local schools before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps in 1957. It was in the Marine Corps where she met her future husband, Phillip Ebner. They were married Dec. 19, 1964, in San Diego, Calif. Phillip predeceased her Dec. 24, 2007. She was honorably discharged in 1964 and began raising her young family.
She was a lifetime homemaker and mother to her four boys in the Lewiston and Lisbon Falls area. She enjoyed camping vacations to the lakes and ocean, and fishing with her boys. She also enjoyed candlepin bowling for many years. Most of all she loved spending time with her six grandchildren, spoiling them endlessly in the process. She will be remembered for her delicious mashed potatoes which cannot be duplicated.
Juliette is survived by her four sons, Peter Ebner and wife, Dorene, of Lewiston, Paul Ebner and wife, Rebecca, of Waldorf, Md., Patrick Ebner and wife, Regina, of Lisbon Falls and Phillip Ebner of Portsmouth, N.H.; a sister, Pauline Martel and husband, Don, of Lisbon Falls; and six grandchildren: Juliette, Garth, Joseph, Zachary, Jacob and Emma.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters: Jeannine Ouellette and Dorothee Ouellette; and one brother, Henri Larochelle.
The family would like to thank the staff at the intensive care unit and at the M1 section of Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston for the loving care given to their mother during her last days.
Friends and family are invited to share their memories and offer their condolences by visiting Juliette’s online guest book at www.crosmanfuneralhome.com.
