1933 – 2017

CANTON — Dana G. Farnum, 83, a resident of Auburn, passed away Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 10, at Pinnacle Health Care in Canton.

He was born May 1, 1933, in Lisbon Falls, the son of Dana G. Farnum Sr. and Valerie L. (Pike) Farnum. Dana was a graduate of Lisbon High. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1956 and from 1959 to 1962 in the U.S. Army. Dana worked as a cab driver.

He is survived by his brothers, Robert Farnum of Lewiston, Richard Farnum and his wife, Jane, of Lisbon Falls, Alan Farnum and his wife, Sylvia, of Plymouth, Wis.; and Gail Griggs and her husband, Randy, of Topsham; and his good friends and caretakers, Felix and Iralda Jimenez of Auburn.

He was predeceased by his parents; and his brother, Gary Farnum.
