Star Teachings of TEA
SUMNER — The public may attend the Star Teachings of TEA, a community dedicated to practicing kindness.
TEAs are where the group shares time, earth and air. They are in circle format where everyone is invited to share stories, wisdom and ask questions in a space of openness and receiving.
The next TEA will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, at 1122 Main St., Route 219.
3D printing, endangered species at PPL
PARIS — The students from the Conservation Quest at Oxford Hills Middle School will visit the Paris Public Library from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27, to demonstrate 3D printing and to share information about various endangered species they have studied.
The group will bring two 3D printers, computers, a scanner, jewelry supplies and printing wearable endangered species pendants for visitors to learn about and take home.
The students will show early participants how to design their own pendants for 3D printing.
The program is free and open to everyone of all ages in the community.

Rabies clinic planned in Andover
ANDOVER — A rabies clinic will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Andover Fire Station.
The cost per vaccine will be $16 cash.
Owners are asked to bring their pets on a leash or in a carrier.
‘True Stories & Tall Tales’
PHILLIPS — “True Stories & Tall Tales,” an evening of food and laughter, will be held Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Phillips Area Community Center, 42 Depot St,
Stories and tales will be shared by Winona Davenport, Tom Skolfield, Karen Pease, Doug Dunlap, Tom Saviello and Niilo Sillanpaa.
Admission is $5 per person or free for each person who brings a dish to share. Food needs to arrive by 4:30 p.m. The potluck will at 5 p.m., and stories will follow.

Rabies vaccination, microchip clinic
NORWAY — Responsible Pet Care will sponsor a rabies vaccination and micro-chipping clinic from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Norway Fire Station.
Pet owners can vaccinate their pets for rabies for $10 each vaccination and microchip pets for $25 each chip. Micro-chipping pets can aid in locating them if they become lost or should a disaster occur.
The attending veterinarian will be Dr. Suzanne Best, DVM.
