1952 – 2017

LEWISTON —  Lee “Pinky” Veilleux, 64, died after a brief battle with cancer on Sunday, Jan. 15, at Central Maine Medical Center.

He was born March 19, 1952, in Lewiston, to Lionel “Lee” and Alma “Bunny” Veilleux. Lee was a graduate of Livermore Falls High School, Class of 1973. He married his wife, Cindy, in 1975 and together they raised their son, Matthew.

Lee was employed for many years the by RSU 52 school district. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing his guitar at family gatherings, tinkering around the house and playing cards with friends. Lee was a kind-hearted and giving person. He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Lee is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cindy Veilleux; son, Matthew Veilleux and daughter-in-law, Sarah Trafford, and their children, Brenden and Brody Veilleux of Livermore Falls; two sisters, Vicki Welch and husband, Scott, of Wilton, Shirley Smith and husband, Jack, of Fayette; and many extended family members and friends.
