1934 – 2017

LEWISTON — Sally Y. Moore, 82, of Lewiston passed away peacefully Thursday, Jan. 19, following a short illness.

She was born in Madawaska on Nov. 21, 1934, to the late Suzanne and Tony Leclair. Sally was educated in Cumberland at Greely High School before graduating from Lewiston High School in 1953. She enjoyed socializing by spending time with her coffee buddies and family, dinners at Gipppers and loved country music. She was a wonderful homemaker and friend and was a strong and independent woman. Young at heart, Sally took great pride in taking good care of herself and dressing stylishly.

Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Carter and husband, Chuck, Cindy Pea and her husband, Bob, and Gail Spugnardi; her one sister, Charlene Hall and brother-in-law, Fred; grandchildren, Chris Bigelow, Melissa Paradis, Kelsie Paradis, Chad Paradis, Ashley Harbin and Zoe’anna Carter. She also leaves behind six great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at d’Youville Pavilion and Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice for their amazing care.
