1941 – 2017
LISBON — Sandra L. Webber, 75, passed away Thursday, Jan. 19, at her home in Lisbon.
She was born in Lewiston on Feb. 22, 1941, the daughter of the late Jules and Bernadette (Caouette) Goudreau.
Sandra was a devout Baptist and lived in Lisbon her entire life. She lived to serve others, putting everyone else’s needs before her own. One day while having lunch at Luiggi’s Pizzeria in Lewiston, she was introduced by a good friend to a man named Floyd Webber, whom she later married, and they shared a loving marriage of over 57 years.
During her life, she did many things to leave quite the “footprint” in the community. She was a volleyball coach for the Lisbon Falls Christian Academy and coached softball for Lisbon High School. She volunteered at both the Lisbon Falls Baptist Church and the Good Shepherd Food Bank. In her earlier years, she won a national bowling tournament. Sandra enjoyed trips to the ocean, eating lobster, and spending time with her grandchildren, and she would sprinkle them with wisdom and life lessons.
Sandra is survived by her loving husband, Floyd Webber; her four children, Mark and his wife, Ava Webber, Lawrence and his wife, Theresa Webber, Timothy and his wife, Vicki Webber and Melissa and her husband, Greg Hanning; her two sisters, Janice Plourde and Sonia Kittredge; her three brothers, Thomas, Frank and John Goudreau; her six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents.
Friends and family are invited to share their memories and offer their condolences by visiting Sandra’s online guest book at www.crosmanfuneralhome.com.
