Hebron Academy’s year-long Saturday programming started off the winter term on Jan. 7 with a series of workshops to teach students speaking and listening skills. The Hebron Words program is a fundamental part of the academy’s curriculum. Each grade works on those skills, focusing on different areas and types of speaking, culminating with the senior year program, “The Last Word,” where they give a speech to the entire school. Here students work in a small workshop group with faculty member Sara Wilmot of the Visual and Performing Arts Department. The students, who are part of the Class of 2018, are, clockwise from Wilmot, Victor Moller of Bromma, Sweden; Victor Frykfeldt, Lindingo, Sweden; Yifei “Johnny” Lang, Guizhou, China; Zihao “Jeff” Guo, Zhengzhou, China; Brian Tobin, Smithfield, Rhode Island; Luke Grainger, Beaconsfield, Canada; Justin Bell Hamilton, Bermuda; Tess Gregory, Paris, Maine; Sofia Castriotta, Framinghman, Massachusetts; Dan Halloran, Lawrence, Massachusetts; Trevor Bell-Rogers, Ashfield, Massachusetts; and Jasck Susser, Ridgefield, Connecticut.
