MILWAUKIE, Ore. — Kendall Charles Keith, 73, of Milwaukie, Ore., died in his home Wednesday, Jan. 11.

He was born Feb. 16, 1943, in Lewiston.

Ken had an eternal love for his family and is survived by his wife of 51 years, Louise; son, Brian; daughters, Angela and Laura; and brothers, Colby and Kerry. He was a delighted grandparent to Amara and Auryn; and father-in-law to Anna and Jeremiah.

He was a graduate of Edward Little High School in Auburn and served in the U.S. Navy from 1961 to 1965. After leaving the Navy, Kendall married Louise Morneau, also from Lewiston, and moved across country to Portland, Ore. Ken received his Bachelor of Science from Portland State University in Portland, Ore., in 1972.

Ken was an avid reader and one could always count on him to have a hearty discussion on local and U.S. politics. He enjoyed fishing for most of his life and particularly loved fishing the Deschutes River.

He was predeceased by his mother, Lina Keith (formerly Pulkkinen) and stepfather, Martin Keith.
