1943 – 2017

LEWISTON — Bill went to be with Jesus on Saturday, Jan. 21, while at Central Maine Medical Center.

He was a loving husband, wonderful father, proud grandpa and a devoted brother.

An avid outdoorsman, Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing with his wife, Vicki, and his grandchildren. He especially loved going camping and fishing in Jackman where he loved to spend time with God and his family.

Bill was born March 22, 1943, the son of Fred and Bertha Brown. He was a pastor for 15 years in the Church of God in Hebron and also filled in as pastor for a short time in the Church of God in Windham. Bill loved to write songs and sing them. He was also a lifelong woodsman. His favorite Scripture is Isaiah 40:31.

Bill is survived by his childhood sweetheart of 60 years, Vicki Brown; three children, Darryl Brown, Leigh Brown Faulkner and her husband, Clarence, Darren Brown; brother, Steve and Sheryl Brown; sisters, Brenda Brown, Letty and Bill Tucci, Judy and David Tucci and Sally Fain; grandchildren whom he adored, Tanya and Rich Danowski, Joshua and Brittney Brown, Jonathan Brown, Amber and Dan Trojecki, Caleb Faulkner, Mariah and Keith Trynor, Danielle and Ben Berube, Gabriel Faulkner; and great-grandchildren, Hailey, Makaila, Madison, Hunter, James, Sam and Elias; nieces and nephews.

Bill was predeceased by his parents, Fred And Bertha Brown; his brother, Frederick Brown; and his son, William Brown Jr.
