Society seeks World War I information

JAY — As the country marks the 100th anniversary of U.S. involvement in World War I, the Jay Historical Society wishes to honor all those who served.

The society suspects that many local families in the area have knowledge of ancestors whose efforts, in the service or on the homefront, were essential to the cost.

The Historical Society encourages people to share their stories with them. Their goal is to gather as many accounts as possible to present to the community in a program it plans for later this year.
