MECHANIC FALLS — Regional School Unit 16 has announced its upcoming adult education learning opportunities. 

Jewelry classes: Students may choose from Alcohol Ink Pendant on Thursday, March 9, or Sea Glass Pendant on Tuesday, April 11. Classes will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. 

Beekeeping: Beekeeper Mary Jane Dillingham, biologist and owner of MisBeeHaven Farm in Poland, will explain why bees are important, the benefits of raising bees, the expense involved and how to access the best local resources. The class will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 9.

Hand-Stamped Cards: Participants can make their own set of four beautiful hand-stamped cards using rubber stamps. The cards are easy to make and no prior experience is necessary. The class will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 16.

Babysitter Certification and Staying Home Alone: Classes will be offered Saturday, April 1. 

Career planning and high school completion classes are also offered.
