MEXICO — For the second time this week, the Board of Selectmen has postponed its meeting. It will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the Town Office conference room.
Public hearings for a liquor license renewal for Oakdale Country Club and a taxi cab license renewal for Gilbert Scott, doing business as Private Taxi, are scheduled.
New business includes discussions of Town Office windows and roof inspection, and the recreation board.
There will be an update on the Fire & Ice program, which provides use of town exercise equipment by membership at the recreation center.
Following the regular meeting, there will be executives sessions on a personnel matter and an economic development matter.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
