SABATTUS — Charles D. Watson, 60, passed away at his home Saturday, Feb. 11.
He was born in Argentia, Newfoundland, Canada, on Sept. 14, 1956, the son of the late Walter and Anne (Roy) Watson.
With sad hearts we have lost our Charlie, husband, dad, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Charlie was an amazing man, special to so many, kind, loving, funny, oh so funny; what a sense of humor. His family, friends, fur babies loved him dearly — as he loved them. Charlie’s family was his world. He was very proud of his two boys and the men they have become. Charlie will always be remembered singing, “What really makes the rocking world go round!” His motorcycle — you always knew Charlie was coming, you could hear his tunes. He enjoyed flea markets, and his garage and house are full of his treasures. He always had music going in multiple rooms at all times! Monday night with the boys, these are things that Charlie treasured most.
He will be dearly missed by many. Rest in peace, my love — until we meet again.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Linda (Moore) Watson; his two sons, Eric and his wife, Krystine Watson, of Lisbon Falls, and Matthew and his fiancée, Suzette, of Sabattus; his three brothers, Phillip, Marty and Walter; his three sisters, Anne Marie, Beth and Theresa; his two grandchildren, Harvey and CJ; his future granddaughter, who is due in June; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; his nephew, Nick; and his best friend, Hank.
Friends and family are invited to share their memories and offer their condolences by visiting Charles’ online guest book at www.thefortingroupauburn.com.
