SUMTERVILLE, Fla. — William I. Jordan, of Greenwood, passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack at his winter home in Sumterville, Fla., on Friday, Feb. 10.
He was born in Lewiston on Sept. 29, 1943, to Arthur Jordan and Louise (Farrah) Jordan of Greenwood.
He was a 1963 graduate of Gould Academy in Bethel. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1964 to 1967 and was a member of the American Legion, Elks and Eagles in Rumford, as well as a Mason with a 50 year pin.
He is survived by his wife, Betty (Mawhinney) Jordan; daughter, Kelly and husband, Brett Blaszczak; daughter, Angela Jordan; stepdaughter, Leslie Hennessey; stepson, Kyle and wife, Sandra Jackson; stepson. Tim Jackson; sister, Carleen Roy; sister, Sharon and husband, Tom Brady; seven grandchildren; two nephews; and one great-grandson.
He leaves us all with such a loving memory of his sense of humor and wit that brightened the days of all the lives he touched.
