LISBON — The Lisbon School Department is accepting names for the public school pre-kindergarten program at Lisbon Community School. This program is for children who will be 4 years old on or before Oct. 15, 2017.
Class size is limited. Children are selected for attendance in the pre-K program by a lottery system. To register for the lottery, parents and guardians need to contact the school department. by Thursday, April 6. The lottery will be held on Friday, April 7.
Parents and guardians will need to provide your child’s name, date of birth, address, telephone number, and parents’ names.
Children who are not selected in the lottery will be placed on a waiting list.
Those who have already submitted the child’s name, do not need to do so again. Parents will be notified of the lottery results by mail following the drawing.
Students in the pre-K program attend school Monday through Friday. The morning session is held from 8 to 10:30 a.m. The afternoon session is held from noon to 2:30pm.
The Lisbon School Department will provide transportation for morning arrival and afternoon dismissal. Families must provide transportation for the 10:30am pick-up and noon drop-off.
