WILTON — Nomination papers for two selectpersons and one school director are available at the Town Office, Town Clerk Diane Dunham said.
Selectpersons John Black and Jeff Rowe, whose terms expire in June, are not seeking re-election, nor is RSU 9 school board Director Keith Swett, Dunham said.
Nomination papers must have at least 25 and no more than 75 signatures of town residents. They must be filed at the Town Office by 5 p.m. March 31.
Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 16 at the Town Office. The RSU 9 budget will be voted on at the same time, Dunham said.
The annual town meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. May 22 at Academy Hill School.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
