ATTLEBORO, Mass. — Caleb Labrie had a goal and two assists to help lead the Fighting Spirit to 3-1 victory over the Northeast Generals on Friday.
Kyle Secor gave the Fighting Spirit a 1-0 lead just before the nine-minute mark of the second period. Labrie increased L/A a’s lead to 2-0 two minutes later with a goal that was set up by Patrick Halpin.
Tyler Rudek cut the deficit in half for Northeast with 5:27 remaining in the middle frame.
Clifford Ogle notched his 12th goal of the season for L/A with 8:37 left in the game.
Michael Errico stopped 40 shots in the victory, while Kris Augustine also made 40 saves in the losing effort.
