LEWISTON — Greta “Irene” Goyette, 80, of Sabattus passed away Thursday, Feb. 23, in Lewiston.
She was born in Millinocket, on May 4, 1936, to parents Roland and Stella (Sulvain) Labbe.
Irene married her loving husband, Marcel, in 1957. March 2 of this year would have been their 60th wedding anniversary.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards and going to camp in Portage.
Irene is survived by her husband, Marcel; daughters, Karen Brochu and her husband, Steve, and Kim Reny and her significant other, David Tantillo; son, Paul Goyette; sisters, Donna Bellefluer and Trudy Storman; a brother, Roland Labbe; five grandchildren; six great-grandchild, plus one due in May.
Preceding her in death are her parents; and a brother, Roy Labbe.
