PORTLAND — Police have launched a homicide investigation after finding a man slumped over inside a parked car on Portland’s West End.
Police Chief Michael Sauschuck said officers responding to a 911 call on Monday removed the 35-year-old man from the car but he died in the street.
He said the case was being treated as a homicide.
No arrests have been made, and no one else was injured.
Police declined to release the victim’s identity pending notification of family members. The state medical examiner will be performing an autopsy.
