FARMINGTON — Police said eight credit cards and 12 CDs were taken from a vehicle parked in a South Street driveway between 11 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday.

An employee at the University of Maine at Farmington told campus police early Tuesday morning that someone had taken the items, along with the owner’s manual for the vehicle, registration form and insurance card, UMF Chief Brock Caton said.

The vehicle had been left unlocked.

The Department of Public Safety-Campus Police at UMF is investigating the theft.

Caton notified Farmington Police Department in case a suspect tries to use the stolen credit cards, he said.
