
Roland Begin, 69, of Livermore Falls was not hurt Tuesday morning when he lost control of his garbage truck on Pine Ridge Loop in Livermore Falls. The truck fishtailed and rolled over, Livermore Falls police officer Vernon Stevens said. A trooper from the Maine State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit inspected the truck before a wrecker from Dutch Gap Auto Inc. pulled it back onto its wheels. Livermore Falls and Jay firefighters assisted at the scene. The truck is owned by Archie’s Inc. of Mexico.

Representatives of Dutch Gap Auto Inc. used a wrecker to pull an Archie’s Inc. garbage truck from Mexico back onto its wheels Tuesday morning on slippery Pine Ridge Loop in Livermore Falls. Roland Begin, 69, of Livermore Falls was not hurt when the truck fishtailed and rolled over, Livermore Falls police officer Vernon Stevens said. The road was heavily sanded after the accident. A trooper from the Maine State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit inspected the truck prior to it being moved. Livermore Falls and Jay firefighters assisted at the scene.
