PORTLAND — Scarborough High School took first place at the 32nd Academic Decathlon Championship March 3 at Deering High School.

Four area high schools will represent the state of Maine at the national competition to be held in Madison, Wisconsin, in April. Scarborough High School won first place with 38,330 points.

Monmouth Academy, Hall-Dale High School and Oak Hill High School will be also be representing Maine for small, medium and large schools, respectively, in the online national competition.

Team finish results: First place, Scarborough High School; second place, Monmouth Academy; third place, Hall-Dale High School; fourth place, Oak Hill High School; fifth place, Bangor High School.
