JAY — Deborah L. Richards, 55, a resident of Livermore Falls, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 11, in Jay, surrounded by her loving family and friends, following a long battle with cancer.
She was born April 22, 1961, in Raleigh, N.C., the daughter of Robert Lewis and Lillian (Sides) Lewis. Debbie was a graduate of Livermore Falls High School. Throughout the years, she had worked for Otis Federal Credit Union, Hannaford, the Apple Shed, Hillside Sports Club and the University of Maine. She was a member of AARP, Hillside Sports Club and a former member of Franklin County United Bikers of Maine. Debbie was an avid Patriots fan, having gone to at least 10 of their games at Gillette Stadium. She also enjoyed gardening, camping, photography, antiquing, but above all else, the time she spent with her daughters and grandchildren.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Scott Blaisdell of Jay; her daughters, Nicole “Coley” Poliquin and her husband, Mike of Hartford, and Miranda “Randi” Thompson and her husband, Corey, of Buxton; four grandchildren, Eris and Acadia Cloutier and Josephine and Samuel Thompson; two sisters, Ellen Bonney and her husband, Steve, of Strong, and Eugenie Lewis and her companion Jeffrey Morris, of Mansfield, Mass.; and her brother, Robert Lewis Jr. and his wife, Jean, of Prince Frederick, Maryland; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents.
