Proceeds to benefit
Project Graduation
PARIS — A laugh-out-loud funny show for the entire family is coming to the Oxford Hills High School auditorium Saturday, March 18.
Maine’s renowned variety entertainer and Johnson Hall’s Executive/Artistic Director Mike Miclon hosts the “The Early Evening Show” at 7:30 p.m. The performance will benefit the Oxford Hills High School Project Graduation.
The premise is based on a spoof of a late-night talk show, but it’s not that simple. With improvisation, sketch comedy, music, lots of special guests and surprises, no two shows are ever alike. Miclon brings his warm personality and goofy sense of fun to the stage — and sometimes an unsuspecting audience member or two.
Well-known Maine musicians Oren Robinson and April Reed-Cox head up the Early Evening Show Orchestra. With their improvisational style, Robinson and Reed-Cox are able to create new songs on the spot and interpret classic favorites with freshness and originality.
Fritz Grobe, Robinson and Reed-Cox join the cast for this night of laughs and lively entertainment.
Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door, and are available at Books N Things on Main Street in Norway, The Lake Store on Route 118 in Norway and Paris Library on Main Street.
