LIVERMORE — Bid packets for maintaining town cemeteries are available at the Town Office, it was announced at Tuesday night’s selectmen meeting.
Administrative Assistant Amy Byron said the packets include a description of the requirements.
Selectperson Timothy Kachnovich said bidders should have $1 million in general liability coverage and workers’ compensation insurance. Commercial vehicle insurance is also required.
The deadline for submitting bids is 6 p.m. Monday, April 3, at the Town Office. They will be opened at the April 4 selectpersons meeting.
In other business, Byron told the board she is working on a revised mowing contract for the board to review.
“It came up during the audit,” she said. “The contract says cemetery rather than town grounds. No beginning or end dates are listed.”
