PORTLAND — Natalie Lois Taylor, 79, a longtime resident of Mechanic Falls, passed away Thursday, March 16, at 2:50 p.m. at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Natalie, born Feb. 28, 1938, to Lois and Nathaniel Taylor, was known to all as sweet and giving. Nat dedicated her life to caring for others. When her role as primary caregiver to her mother, Lois, came to an end, Nat continued to extend herself to family and community, always acknowledging and remembering birthdays and holidays.

Natalie’s love of needlework showed in her beautiful gifts and sought-after dish cloths, which brightened the lives of many. Nat emulated her love by being our family historian and through her enjoyment of quick wit. Her smile and infectious giggle will be missed.

Natalie is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Sandy Taylor of Old Orchard Beach; her cousins, Priscilla and Leslie Pulsifer of West Paris; and several nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Online condolences may be shared with her family at www.chandlerfunerals.com.
