PARIS — The next monthly Open Observatory Night is planned for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 1, at the Twitchell Observatory on Hooper Ledge Road if skies are clear.

If skies will not be clear, the alternate date will be Friday, March 31. Confirmed dates will be posted on the website.

The event is free to attend.

Bethel Seniors to meet

BETHEL — The Bethel Senior Citizens Club will meet Wednesday, April 12, at the Roosters Roadhouse for their meeting and dinner. Doors will open at 11 a.m. and the meeting will start at 11:15 a.m.

Reservations and dinner choices of Yankee pot roast or baked stuffed haddock.   must be made before Saturday, April 1. Cost of the meal $14.
