LEWISTON — Sheila (Cosgrove) Rousseau, 57, of Auburn was unexpectedly taken from her Earthly body on Wednesday, March 22, at Central Maine Medical Center.

Sheila was born in Lewiston on Feb. 18, 1960, the fifth daughter of Michael V. and Constance J. (Dube) Cosgrove.

Sheila graduated from Lewiston High School with the Class of 1978. She went on to marry her soul mate and love of her life, Roch Rousseau on Aug. 27, 1988, and soon fulfilled her dream of becoming a mother to her two incredible children. Sheila was a wonderful wife and mother.

Sheila loved wholly and was, in turn, wholly loved. She found great pleasure in spending time with her family and adored moments spent with her youngest family members. This tremendous loss will be felt by many.

Sheila is survived by her loving husband, Roch; her devoted son, Taylor, and his girlfriend, Paige Massingale; her daughter and best friend, Hailey, all of Auburn; brothers, Michael Cosgrove of Florida and Jay Dostie of Auburn; sisters, Maureen Adams and husband, Bruce, of Otisfield, Kathy Peters and husband, Bill, of Sumner, Mary Kay Pace and husband Vincent of Massachusetts; sisters-in-law, Judy Rousseau-Gagnon and husband, Norm, of Auburn and Andrea Rousseau and husband, Dave Krigger, of Pennsylvania; stepfather, Richard Brackett of Auburn; and stepbrother, Rick Brackett and wife, Linda, of Auburn.

She was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Lynda Dittler and Mikki Swift; and a nephew, Deryk Peters.
