AUBURN — Jerome W. Rausch, 91, passed away at his winter home in Fort Meade, Fla., on Fri., March 24.
Rausch was born May 28, 1925 in Melrose, Minn., and resided in Auburn for many years. He was a Catholic theologian and professor, and ordained to the ministry in June 1950.
Rausch was preceded in death by his parents, Valentine and Kathryn H. Rausch; brothers, Norbert, Ervine, Severin, Florentine, Herman, Armand and Eugene; and sisters, Lorraine and Betty Ann.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years this coming Nov. 28, Shanti Rausch; stepdaughters, Sonja Sundaram and husband, Ben, and Serena Sundaram; siblings, Sr. RoseMae Rausch OSF, Sr. Antonia Rausch OSF, and Josephine Vania and husband, George; brother, Paul Rausch and wife, Liane; and GrandPaPa’s special grandchildren, Kieran and Kalyani Walter-Sundaram.
