AUBURN — Fostering personal growth and curiosity, the Lewiston-Auburn Senior College and the Auburn Public Library will kick off the Curious Minds Lecture Series with a seminar on the benefits of meditation by Todd Glacy.
The free program will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, in the Androscoggin Community Room of the Auburn Public Library.
Glacy, who contends that happiness is a choice, will explore the keys to unlock and create happiness in all areas of life. Participants will learn about relaxation techniques, how pre-programmed thoughts impact the perception of reality, and how people deal with stress and anxiety.
Glacy has developed an approach to relaxation and stress reduction that is easy to understand, easy to do, and he says gives powerful and proven results. With regular practice, Glacy says, participants will find themselves feeling more relaxed, healthy and happy.
