The Mechanic Falls, Minot, and Poland Tri-Town Optimist Club announces its Regional School Unit 16 Student of the Month recipients for March, Greg and Kurt Leighton. Both students are avid basketball players, who have displayed an amazing effort over the past couple of years to overcome challenges, by accessing school and community resources, in order to complete their senior year at Poland Regional High School. Each of them has plans to attend Central Maine Community College in the fall, with an interest in pursuing a career in the field of fitness and/or wellness education.
