LEWISTON — The Auburn-Lewiston Sports Hall of Fame will hold its 34th annual Induction & Awards Banquet on Sunday, May 7, at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston.
This year’s inductees for career achievement are Ron Chicoine, John Hersom, Tammy Jacques, and Bryan Lambert. The Class of 2017 will join the 149 individuals previously enshrined in the community HOF.
Among other awards to be presented will be the Chamber of Commerce President’s Award to area coaches and graduating student-athletes for their recent outstanding accomplishments and the Flashback to Fame Award to the 1967 Lewiston High School State Champion Ski team on its 50th anniversary.
The banquet will begin at noon with a social period followed by dinner and presentations. Admission is by reservation only. Tickets are $30 and are available at the LA Metro Chamber office at 415 Lisbon Street. Contact Maureen Aube at 783-2249 for reservations and information.
