Franco Center postpones Québec trip

LEWISTON — Gendron Franco Center has announced that it will reschedule the maple sugar day-trip to Lac-Mégantic, Québec, planned for Saturday, April 1, due to the winter weather forecasted.

Jones Dance Band to perform

BUCKFIELD — Jones Dance Band will perform from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturdays, April 1, 8, 15,22 and 29, at the Masonic Hall at 5 High St.

Admission is $5 per adult. The lunch counter will be open.

First Auburn Seniors to meet

AUBURN — The First Auburn Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, for a regular meeting and a boiled dinner.

Those attending should bring utensils and take-home dishes. Bingo will be played after lunch.

Tickets will be on sale for the April 19 lasagna dinner for $5.

AUBURN — High Street Congregational Church will host its annual Fabric & Craft Supply Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 8, at 106 Pleasant St.

Crafters sought for craft fair

LEWISTON — Lewiston Recreation Department will host the third annual Lewiston Recreation Artisan & Craft Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 8, at the Lewiston Memorial Armory, 65 Central Ave.

Food pantry seeks donations 

AUBURN — The High Street Congregational Church Food Pantry has ongoing needs for the following items: peanut butter, canned vegetables, soup, canned past, canned meats, canned fruit, dry cereal, baking items, soup, crackers, and toilet paper.

Drumming group making a beat 

LEWISTON — The Hand Drumming Group plays from 1 to 3 p.m. on the second Sunday of the month, at Trinity Church, 247 Bates St. The group will play next on April 9

All levels and styles of drummers can play, and they can bring their own instrument or try one of the club’s drums. The cost to play is by donation. 

New Auburn Seniors resume meetings

AUBURN — New Auburn Seniors will resume meetings on Monday, April 10, in the basement of the Sacred Heart Church.

Doors will open at 9 a.m.
