WATERVILLE — Phoenix Karate Academy is very pleased to announce its two champions that attended Huard’s Karate tournament, “Battle of Maine” on March 25.
Both students exemplified true martial arts spirit, while demonstrating Pinan-Do (peaceful way) Karate.
Dominick Plourde, who took third place in Weapons Kata, second place in Empty hand Kata, and first in Kumite (light contact sparring) in his division.
Jameson Treadwell who also placed first in Kumite, fighting several competitors in his division.
To see these two competitors and several more from Phoenix Karate Academy, as well as other area schools, please join us on May 20 at Central Maine Community College for the seventh annual “Spirit of the Phoenix” Tournament.
