Bridgton Hospital recently presented Sunshine Awards to Carrie Harding and Kelly Rugg who work in the dietary department. The award celebrates the extraordinary skills and compassionate care given by technical support staff. Harding and Rugg were nominated by a family for going the “extra mile” for their relative who receives regular treatments at the hospital. The thoughtfulness and desire of both women to make someone’s day better speak volumes about their desire to make a difference in caring for the whole patient.
